Wonderful heavy work activity. Going through the tunnel (12 feet / 3m 60), is a challenging task, for children as well as adults. Going through the tunnel provides much resistance, proprioception, deep pressure tactile and deep touch input, as well as challenges bilateral coordination skills.
Pushing a ball or weighted object through the tunnel increases the effort required.
Great for increasing body awareness and developing motor planning skills.
Tunnels made of spandex lycra. Tunnels come with holes in them, which allow arms, legs or heads to be poked out providing more tactile / pressure input.
Made with several reinforced handles to hold and pull.
