Wonderful heavy work activity. Going through the tunnel (12 feet / 3m 60), is a challenging task, for children as well as adults. Going through the tunnel provides much resistance, proprioception, tactile and deep touch input. Pushing a ball or weighted object through the tunnel increases the effort required. Great for increasing body awareness and developing motor planning skills.
Select a tunnel with or without holes. Tunnels fabricated with holes in them allow arms, legs or heads to be poked out providing more tactile / pressure input.
Tunnels made of spandex lycra.
